Personal:
Felecia is a small town Colorado girl who loves the California lifestyle.
"I live here because there is always something to do and see. There are
always interesting people around with amazing stories to tell." Lloyd lives
with her husband, Scott, and toy Pomeranian dog, though you will rarely find
her home. She seems always to be working, singing, writing or flying off
somewhere to see what can be seen. |
Music Experience:
"I don't remember a time I didn't sing," Lloyd states. She has been singing
since she could talk, often using a suitcase turned on its side for a stage
and a vacuum cleaner hose as a mic. Lloyd sang in many choirs as a child, and
performed solos and duets with her sister. At 10, she began to play flute in a
school concert band. Bass guitar was added to her rep at 14 when she joined a
school jazz band. Lloyd continued as a jazz and concert band performer as well
as a choral and solo singer through-out high school and college. Lloyd was an
All-State award winner in Colorado for her work in voice, flute and bass guitar.
She sought a degree in classical voice in college and, there, was introduced to
the world of rock-n-roll. Lloyd sang with several rock and jazz combos during
college and landed as lead vocalist for a rock band during her freshman year of
college. Lloyd continued to sing with rock and blues bands as well as hiring out
for studio work prior to the formation of 4 ft deep.
4 ft deep was originally formed as a blues and blues/rock band.
Lloyd, the only original member, says, "This project has evolved into something
really amazing. Whether by nature or design, every step of the journey this
group has taken has made it better. I cannot wait to see what is waiting around
the bend!"

The Princess Speaks:
I remember my dad always talkin' about "making good time" whenever we
went on a trip. I learned that traveling in the dark night as fast as you can
just so you can get there while its still cool isn't all that memorable - except,
of course, for the stress involved.
Living should be a purposeful, steamy, scenic journey down a twisting,
turning path. Pay attention to the little things along the way, and enjoy the whole marvelous trip! |
